Customer:They work great for home automation. Once powered, set up with the eWeLink app is quick and simple. I'm using them to controll the lights in my house by adding a switch/outlet box below the light switches. If you know basic electrical wiring it's pretty simple to just wire it in after the manual switch. I decided to wire them in sequence so I can still manually control the dimmer and have the sonoff switch turn off the light even with the manual switch turned on. You don't need the neutral output from the sonoff switch if your fixture (light, fan, etc.) Is wired to a neutral, but you do need neutral and line input to ensure the switch has a current and stays on.

Steps to monitor and control your device with TUYA

1.Question: Does this work with the Tuya Smart App?

   Answer: It does not. it works with a software called eWeLink by default. 

2.Question: can you install inside of light switch electrical box?

   Answer: If you are extremely skilled and creative then that would be a solid maybe. They are fairly large out of the box, though you could remove the plastic housing and insulate them with electrical tape to reduce the size. You will then have to find a switch with a fairly small backside and then jam them in together, or get rid of the switch all together. 

Additionally, you do need to reset them every now and again; usually every few months or when you change your wifi password. For that you have to disconnect and reconnect them, which might be annoying if you have to opent the box for every time. 

3.Question: Do these have a thermal cut-off to prevent overload and fire?

   Answer: I don't believe so. A circuit breaker should shut off if there's a short though. However, there is no ground on these switches. 

4.Question: Can i use this with a vandal switch to turn on a desktop computer?

  Answer: What do you mean by vandal switch? 

If your refering to a regular push button switch then no as this unit does not have an input for that. 

This is basically a wifi enabled light switch, it just makes and breaks the mains voltage when it receives a command over a wifi network from Alexa or other home automation system.
